Linx Printing Technologies has supplied continuous ink jet printers to enable printing for 40,000 yogurt pots every hour at leading Israeli dairy company.
Two Linx 7900 CIJ printers incorporating head traversing units have been installed at Tnuva Eilon Tavor, the latest in over 100 Linx machines that are in operation at Tnuva sites across Israel as part of a long-standing 14 year partnership between the company and Linx’s Israeli distributor International Process Equipment Ltd (IPE).
The Linx 7900 has been designed to deliver low running costs, featuring adjusted service intervals – it is able to run for up to 9,000 hours or 18 months between services.
Linx said QuickSwitch software allows fast, time-saving changeovers between products or messages, with simple automated set-up, and the printer’s SureFill system ensures mistake-proof refills.
In addition, Linx PrintSync enables automatic print format selection, using the line speed to provide the best possible print quality.
A Tnuva spokesperson said: “The latest 7900 continues the excellent service we have received during this time, with proven reliability and consistent performance, which results in fewer unplanned line stoppages.”
